The New Balance Tektrel is designed for versatile use, excelling in both on-road and off-road conditions, including varied trail surfaces, gravel paths, and light technical terrain.
Brush off loose dirt, then use a mild soap and water with a soft cloth or brush on the synthetic upper and rubber outsole. Air dry away from direct heat.
The product description does not specify waterproof features. The synthetic upper offers some resistance to light moisture, but these shoes are not fully waterproof.
The Tektrel features a dynamic and performance midsole designed to offer comfortable cushioning, built specifically for running and absorbing impact on varied surfaces.
While offering excellent traction and cushioning for general trail running, their suitability for competitive racing depends on personal preference and the specific race conditions. They are designed for confident performance on the 'trail less traveled'.
The Tektrel features a synthetic upper for durability and support, and a rubber outsole for robust traction and grip.
While the AT Tread offers versatile traction, extremely wet or icy surfaces can still be challenging. Adjust your stride and reduce speed in these conditions. Ensure the outsole lugs are clear of mud or debris.
Verify you have the correct size and width. Ensure your socks are appropriate for trail running. If discomfort persists, consider aftermarket insoles for personalized arch support or cushioning.
Try a double knot for added security. Experiment with different lacing techniques that may offer a more snug fit and reduce loosening during activity.
