Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
As an automatic watch, the Versace V-Auria requires initial winding to start its movement if it has stopped. Gently turn the crown (located on the side of the case) clockwise about 30-40 times until you feel some resistance. This will build up power in the mainspring. The watch will then continue to wind itself through the natural motion of your wrist during wear.
Compatibility:
This watch is designed for wrist wear and is compatible with standard watch maintenance procedures. It is suitable for daily wear across a wide range of activities, though it's advisable to avoid extreme conditions that could compromise its performance.
Care:
- Cleaning: Wipe the case and crystal gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. For the leather strap, use a slightly damp cloth for light cleaning, but avoid soaking it. Allow the strap to air dry completely. For deeper cleaning of the strap, consult a professional.
- Storage: When not in use, store the watch in its original box or a soft pouch to prevent scratches. If storing for an extended period, consider using a watch winder to keep the automatic movement running.
- Water Resistance: Check the specific water resistance rating for this model. While many watches have some level of water resistance, avoid submerging them unless explicitly stated as suitable for swimming or diving. Exposure to perfumes, lotions, and harsh chemicals should also be minimized to protect the materials.
