FAQs
How do I clean these shoes?
Wipe the shoes with a damp cloth. For tougher dirt, use a mild soap and water solution, then wipe clean with a damp cloth. Always air dry away from direct heat. Do not machine wash.
How long do the lights last?
The duration of the lights depends on usage. They are powered by impact and are designed to last for a significant period of regular play. If they stop working, it may indicate depleted batteries, which may not be user-replaceable.
Are these shoes waterproof?
These shoes are not designed to be waterproof. Avoid submerging them in water or wearing them in heavy rain.
What is the purpose of the stretch-laced front?
The stretch-laced front provides a snug, secure fit while allowing for easy slip-on and slip-off action, perfect for children's independence.
Can these shoes be used for sports?
While they offer good traction and flexibility for general play, they are best suited for casual wear and light activities rather than specialized sports that require advanced support or features.
What age group are these shoes for?
These shoes are designed for children, specifically categorized under the 'kids' age group.
What does '8 UK Child' mean?
This refers to the UK sizing standard for children's footwear. It indicates the specific size of the shoe available in this listing.
Troubleshooting
Lights are not working
Ensure the child is walking or running to activate the impact sensors. If the lights still do not work after significant use, the batteries may be depleted and may need replacement (note: battery replacement may not be possible or recommended for all models).
Shoes appear dirty
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. For stubborn marks, use a mild soap and water solution, then wipe clean with a fresh damp cloth. Allow to air dry.
Stiff or uncomfortable fit
Ensure the correct size is being worn. Children's feet grow quickly, so verify the size. Wear with appropriate socks. The shoes should become more flexible with light wear.
