Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the air fryer and all packaging materials. Ensure all accessories, such as cooking trays, are present.
- Placement: Place the unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the air fryer for proper ventilation (at least 10-15 cm on all sides and above).
- First Use Clean: Before first use, wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Wash the removable baskets and cooking trays with warm, soapy water, then rinse and dry thoroughly. It is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 180°C to burn off any manufacturing residues, which may produce a slight odor.
- Power Connection: Plug the air fryer into a grounded wall outlet. The digital display should illuminate.
Compatibility:
This appliance is designed for standard domestic kitchen environments. Ensure your electrical outlet matches the voltage requirements specified on the product label.
Care & Maintenance:
- Cleaning After Each Use: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Remove the cooking baskets and trays.
- Baskets & Trays: Wash the non-stick baskets and trays with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. For stubborn residue, soak them for a short period. They may also be dishwasher safe (check manual for confirmation).
- Interior: Wipe the interior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. For baked-on food, a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild dish soap can be used, ensuring it's wiped clean afterwards.
- Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers, which could damage the finish.
- Storage: Ensure the air fryer is clean and dry before storing. Store it in a cool, dry place.
- Safety Features: The unit includes auto shut-off and overheat protection. Regularly ensure vents are not blocked to allow these features to function correctly.
