This jacket is designed as a waterproof shell. It provides wind and rain protection but offers minimal insulation. For cold weather, layering with warm mid-layers like fleece is recommended.

Machine wash cold with like colors using a powder detergent, rinse thoroughly, and tumble dry low or hang dry. Do not use bleach, fabric softeners, or iron.

'Fully seam-sealed' means that all the seams on the jacket are covered with tape or sealant to prevent water from leaking through the stitching, ensuring complete waterproofing.

The pockets are zip-closed, which helps protect contents from rain, but they are not designed to be fully submersible or waterproof.

Refer to the size chart provided by Columbia for accurate measurements. The adjustable cuffs and hood allow for some fine-tuning of the fit.

The mesh lining enhances comfort by providing a softer feel against the skin and improving air circulation, which contributes to the jacket's overall breathability.

Ensure all zippers are fully closed and seams are intact. Re-evaluate care instructions, as harsh detergents or fabric softeners can degrade waterproof membranes. Consider a re-waterproofing treatment if water absorption is noted.

Gently try to move the zipper back and forth. Apply a small amount of wax (like a candle or specialized zipper wax) to the zipper teeth. Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper track.

This can be due to humidity or sweat. Ensure the jacket is properly ventilated by opening zippers slightly if possible. The mesh lining aids breathability, but intense activity may still lead to some internal moisture.

Avoid high heat when drying and do not iron directly on the reflective areas. If peeling has started, it may be difficult to repair; focus on maintaining the rest of the jacket's integrity.
