Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These are stockingfoot waders, meaning they feature built-in neoprene booties. You will need to purchase a separate pair of wading boots that are compatible with stockingfoot waders. Ensure your wading boots fit snugly over the neoprene feet without excessive tightness or looseness. Secure the integrated gravel guards over your boots to prevent debris from entering.
Compatibility:
Compatible with any wading boots designed for stockingfoot waders. The large zipped pocket and TPU pouch are designed for general accessory storage; ensure items stored are appropriately protected for their sensitivity to moisture.
Care:
To maintain the performance and longevity of your waders:
- Rinse Thoroughly: After each use, rinse the waders inside and out with clean, cool water to remove dirt, salt, and other contaminants.
- Wash Gently: Periodically, wash the waders by hand or in a front-loading washing machine on a gentle cycle with cool water and a technical wash detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach.
- Air Dry: Hang the waders to air dry completely, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure they are fully dry before storing to prevent mildew.
- Reactivate DWR: Periodically, use a DWR refresher spray on the exterior of the waders and follow product instructions for reactivation to restore water repellency. Avoid ironing.
