Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
These waders are designed as a stockingfoot model, meaning they come with integrated, sock-like neoprene feet. They require separate wading boots to be worn over the stockingfoot. Ensure your wading boots are of appropriate size to accommodate the stockingfoot comfortably without excessive tightness, which could restrict circulation or damage the wader.
Compatibility:
- Wading Boots: Compatible with most standard wading boots. Choose boots that offer good ankle support and have sufficient space for the integrated neoprene feet.
- Accessories: The front accessory loops are designed for attaching common fishing accessories like retractors for tools or nippers.
Care Instructions:
- Cleaning: After each use, rinse the waders thoroughly inside and out with fresh water to remove any dirt, salt, or contaminants. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and cool water, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid harsh detergents or solvents.
- Drying: Always air dry the waders completely, both inside and out, before storing. Hang them in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Never machine dry or use artificial heat to speed up the drying process.
- Zipper Care: To ensure the longevity and smooth operation of the Ti Zip® Masterseal-10, rinse the zipper thoroughly with fresh water after each use, especially if exposed to saltwater or sand. Periodically apply a silicone-based zipper lubricant designed for wetsuits or outdoor gear. Avoid forcing the zipper; if it snags, gently try to free the fabric.
- Storage: Store the waders loosely folded or hung in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing them in direct sunlight or in environments with extreme temperatures.
