Agastache Blackadder is a hardy perennial that produces tall spikes of violet-blue flowers from mid-summer into autumn. These blooms rise above toothed green foliage that boasts a spicy, aniseed-like aroma when crushed. Also known as Giant Hyssop, Agastache is great for borders, rockeries, or patio containers and attracts bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, bringing life to your garden with minimal effort. It’s easy to care for and doesn’t need much attention to thrive. Plant Agastache in full sun with well-drained soil and water regularly until established. Once settled, it’s drought-tolerant and low-maintenance. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage more blooms and cut back in late autumn or early spring to keep it healthy and compact. Please Note: When purchasing plants, please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. The plant will be supplied in a growers pot. Depending on season, some plants may be pruned back to increase growth and deciduous plants may arrive without leaves. Agastache Blackadder is a striking Hyssop plant perfect for adding vibrant violet-blue blooms to a flower garden for pollinators. Loved by bees and butterflies, these hardy performers are ideal for rockeries or mixed borders and are excellent perennial plants for patio pots. As one of the most reliable perennial flowering plants, it delivers long-lasting colour from mid-summer into autumn, making it a standout choice. Supplied in a growers’ pot ready to plant out, it’s quick to establish and makes a great addition to any display of perennial garden plants.
