No, this product is intended for indoor use only. Wind can easily knock over the partition, and the materials are not weather-resistant.
This model consists of 4 panels, which can be configured as one large screen or split into two separate 2-panel units.
No, the HOMCOM 4-Panel Privacy Screen comes fully assembled.
The frame is constructed from durable materials designed to provide sturdy support for the fabric panels.
The panels are designed for privacy and decoration; hanging heavy items is not recommended as it may tip the screen or damage the fabric.
The fabric provides a significant visual barrier, ideal for creating privacy and blocking direct lines of sight, though it may allow some light to pass through.
Adjust the angle of the hinges; creating a zig-zag or 'W' shape rather than a straight line will significantly increase structural stability.
Gently wiggle the hinges to loosen the joints. Ensure the screen is placed on a flat, even floor surface.
Use a handheld garment steamer on a low setting, keeping it at a distance to gently release any folds or creases caused by shipping.
The HOMCOM room divider arrives pre-assembled and ready for immediate use. To set up, simply unfold the panels to your desired width and position them in a zig-zag pattern for the best balance. If you need to separate the unit, inspect the hinges to detach the panels.
For care, avoid using harsh chemical cleaners on the fabric. If dust accumulates, use a dry microfiber cloth or a soft-bristled upholstery brush to gently clean the palm leaf panels. Keep the unit away from direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent potential fabric fading. Always store the screen in a dry, indoor location to prevent moisture damage to the frame.
