Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup Instructions
- Prepare Your Space: Clear a large, flat area for assembly, ensuring sufficient room to maneuver all components.
- Unpack Carefully: Lay out all panels, hardware, and instructions. Check against the parts list to confirm everything is present. Keep small parts in their original packaging until needed to prevent loss.
- Follow Instructions: Assemble the wardrobe step-by-step according to the manufacturer's provided guide. Pay close attention to diagrams and hardware types.
- Two-Person Assembly: Due to its size and weight, it is highly recommended to have two adults for safe and efficient assembly.
- Secure Fastenings: Ensure all screws, cam locks, and other fasteners are tightened securely, but avoid overtightening which can damage the material.
- Wall Anchoring (Recommended): For safety and stability, especially in homes with children or pets, attach the wardrobe to a wall using the provided anti-tip kit (Info needed: if anti-tip kit is included) and appropriate wall fixings for your wall type.
Compatibility
This wardrobe is designed to complement modern bedroom aesthetics. Its grey finish makes it versatile for rooms with contemporary, minimalist, or industrial decor. Consider the overall dimensions to ensure it fits comfortably within your bedroom without overcrowding the space.
Care & Maintenance
- Cleaning the Wardrobe Body: Wipe down exterior and interior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner if necessary, then dry immediately with a clean cloth to prevent water marks.
- Cleaning Mirrored Doors: Use a glass cleaner suitable for mirrors and a lint-free cloth to avoid streaks. Spray cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the mirror, to prevent liquid from seeping into edges.
- Dusting: Regularly dust all surfaces with a soft, dry cloth to prevent buildup.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or ammonia-based products, as these can damage the finish or mirrors.
- Protect from Direct Sunlight/Heat: Prolonged exposure can cause fading or damage to the material. Avoid placing hot items directly on surfaces.
- Hardware Checks: Periodically check all screws and fittings to ensure they remain tight. Re-tighten as needed to maintain stability.
