The jacket is water-repellent (WPr), meaning it is designed to handle light rain and moisture but is not classified as fully waterproof for heavy, sustained downpours.
It is best to follow the care instructions on the internal label. Generally, spot cleaning with a damp cloth is sufficient for surface dirt.
Yes, the Serravalle series is available in both brown and black variants.
It features a tailored, flattering fit. If you prefer a loose or oversized look, you might want to consider sizing up.
It provides good protection for autumn and spring weather, but for deep winter temperatures, it is best layered with insulating base or mid-layers.
The water-repellent coating may be wearing off; consider using a professional-grade re-proofing spray recommended for Barbour garments.
The Serravalle features a tailored cut; ensure you are not wearing excessively bulky knitwear or consider a different size if consistent layering is required.
To ensure your jacket maintains its performance, avoid machine washing unless the care label specifically permits it; spot cleaning is generally recommended to preserve the water-repellent finish. When storing, use a wide-shouldered hanger to maintain the jacket's structural integrity. Because this jacket is designed with a more tailored fit, consider the thickness of the sweaters you intend to wear underneath when selecting your size. Periodically checking the manufacturer's care guidelines is essential if you decide to re-proof the garment after extensive use to restore its original water-resistant properties.
