Ilus Core is Dare 2b's proprietary fabric technology, designed to be stretchy, breathable, and comfortable for activewear. This specific version is made with recycled materials.

While it offers warmth and wind resistance, it is primarily designed as a mid-layer. For very cold or wet conditions, it is recommended to wear a waterproof and insulated outer shell over it.

The midlayer should fit comfortably, allowing for a base layer underneath without being too tight. It should not restrict movement. Refer to the brand's sizing chart for specific measurements.

This product incorporates recycled materials, utilizing the equivalent of 19 plastic bottles.

It is an excellent insulating layer for cold weather when combined with a base layer and an outer shell. On its own, it is best suited for mild to cool conditions or as part of a layering system.

The inner zip guard is a strip of fabric behind the zipper that prevents it from irritating your skin, particularly around the chin and neck area, ensuring a more comfortable fit when zipped up.

Ensure the fabric is not caught in the zipper. Apply a small amount of graphite (from a pencil lead) or a specialized zipper lubricant to the teeth.

Check if fabric softener was used, as this can reduce performance. Re-wash with a technical fabric cleaner and air dry. Consider reapplying a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment if performance does not improve.

Ensure the garment is worn correctly as a mid-layer, with a smooth base layer underneath if needed. Check for any loose threads that might be causing irritation.
