Setup Instructions
Your Little Friends Rabbit Cage Stand is delivered flat-packed and requires minor assembly. Follow these simple steps to set up your stand:
- Unpack Components: Carefully remove all parts from the packaging and lay them out.
- Attach Legs to Top Frame: Securely attach the stand legs to the designated points on the top frame using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are finger-tight first.
- Install Lower Shelf: Position the grid wire lower shelf into its designated slots or attachments on the legs.
- Attach Castors: Insert the castors firmly into the bottom of each leg.
- Tighten All Connections: Once all components are in place, use the appropriate tool (usually an Allen key or screwdriver, often included) to tighten all screws and connections securely. Ensure the stand is stable and level.
- Place Your Cage: Carefully lift your 120cm cage onto the assembled stand, ensuring it sits securely within the frame.
Compatibility
- Designed For: This stand is specifically designed to fit any 120cm Little Friends Rabbit/Guinea Pig Cage.
- Other Cages: It may also accommodate other similarly sized cages, but it is crucial to check your cage's exact dimensions against the stand's specifications before ordering or attempting to use it.
- Incompatible Cages: Please note that these stands do not fit the Little Friends R4/R5 cages with white bars.
- Manufacturer Guarantee: Compatibility with cages made by other manufacturers cannot be guaranteed without verifying dimensions.
Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: To keep your stand looking new, regularly wipe down the metal surfaces with a damp cloth. For more stubborn marks, a mild, pet-safe cleaning solution can be used, followed by a dry wipe.
- Castor Maintenance: Occasionally check the castors for any accumulated pet hair or debris that might hinder their movement. Clean them as needed to ensure smooth mobility.
- Structural Check: Periodically inspect all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure, maintaining the stand's stability.
