Yes, the Pegasus Plus is built for distance, providing the cushioning and breathability needed for long-distance training and racing.
These trainers are primarily designed for road and gym surfaces and may lack the specific grip and lateral protection needed for technical trail running.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaner or a mild soap solution with a soft cloth to gently wipe away stains, ensuring you do not scrub too hard on the delicate mesh.
The Nike Pegasus Plus generally follows standard sizing, though the performance fit is closer to the foot than casual sneakers.
The cushioning provides neutral support, but those with specific orthotic needs should consult a professional to see if their custom insoles fit within the shoe.
Re-evaluate your lacing tension and ensure you are wearing the correct size; performance shoes are meant to be snug but not restrictive.
Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry debris, then wipe gently with a damp cloth.
Proper care for your Nike Pegasus Plus begins with selecting the correct size, as the performance fit is snug to prevent shifting. We recommend trying these on with the specific socks you intend to use for training to ensure the right volume. To maintain the shoes, avoid machine washing; instead, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow the trainers to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the foam cushioning and adhesives. Remove the insoles after particularly wet runs to accelerate the drying process.
