Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up the netting, unroll it and position it over the area you wish to protect. For ponds, ensure it lies flat across the surface. Use the 10 provided pegs to secure the edges of the net firmly into the ground or around the pond's edge. This prevents the net from shifting and ensures there are no gaps for pests to enter. For garden beds, stake the netting around the perimeter, creating a protective dome or cover. Ensure the netting is taut but not stretched excessively.
Compatibility: The netting is compatible with most standard garden ponds, small pools, raised garden beds, and individual plants or bushes. Its primary function is physical protection, making it suitable for any application where a barrier is needed against medium-to-large pests or debris.
Care: Clean the netting periodically by rinsing it with water to remove accumulated dirt or algae. Inspect the netting for any tears or damage and repair them promptly to maintain its protective integrity. Store the netting in a dry place when not in use to prolong its lifespan. The HDPE material is generally weather-resistant, but prolonged exposure to harsh UV rays or extreme weather may degrade it over time.
