FAQs

Are these flip-flops waterproof?

Yes, they are made from rubber and are perfectly suited for water-based environments like pools and beaches.

Do these run true to size?

Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit.

How do I clean the white or light-colored straps?

Use a soft-bristled brush with mild soap and water to gently scrub away dirt from the strap surface.

Can I use these for long-distance walking?

While they are comfortable for casual wear, they do not provide the stability or support required for long-distance hiking.

Does the flag logo peel off over time?

The logo is integrated into the design. With proper care and by avoiding abrasive surfaces, the branding remains intact.

Troubleshooting

Strap feels tight or uncomfortable initially

The flexible material will naturally mold to your foot shape after a few hours of wear.

Slippery surface when wet

The textured footbed is designed to provide grip, but ensure the sandal is clean and free of sand or soap residue to maintain optimal traction.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Lightweight construction perfect for travel
Versatile design suitable for gym, pool, or beach
Durable, flexible material for long-term comfort
Easy to clean and maintain

Cons

Not intended for heavy-duty hiking or athletic activities
Limited arch support compared to dedicated orthopedic footwear
Open-toe design leaves feet exposed to debris

Setup, Compatibility & Care

These flip-flops arrive ready to wear straight out of the box with no break-in period required. To ensure your Havaianas last for multiple seasons, follow these maintenance tips:

Cleaning: Wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid harsh chemicals that may degrade the rubber.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place. Prolonged exposure to extreme heat, such as inside a locked car during summer, can cause the material to warp.
Compatibility: These are designed for standard adult foot shapes; verify your UK sizing before purchase to ensure the most comfortable fit across the heel and toe box.
