Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity and performance of your jacket, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a mild, technical garment detergent. Avoid fabric softeners as they can strip the DWR coating.
- Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting to help maintain the loft of the microfiber insulation. Hanging to dry is also acceptable.
- Re-treating: Over time, water will stop beading on the surface. Apply a wash-in or spray-on DWR repellent to restore the water-resistant properties.
- Storage: Store the jacket in a cool, dry place. Avoid keeping it compressed in a stuff sack for extended periods to prevent damage to the insulation structure.
