FAQs
Can I put this tablecloth in the washing machine?
No, this product should not be machine washed. Please wipe it clean with a damp cloth instead.
Is this tablecloth safe for outdoor use?
Yes, the durable TPU coating makes it suitable for outdoor entertaining, though it should be brought inside during extreme weather conditions.
Can I use an iron to remove wrinkles?
No, ironing will damage the TPU coating. Allow the tablecloth to settle flat on the table, and wrinkles should dissipate naturally.
What is the material made of?
The tablecloth is made from polyester with a high-quality TPU coating, which is a PVC-free, environmentally conscious alternative.
Does it contain PVC?
No, the D C Fix Eco Line collection is specifically designed to be PVC-free.
Troubleshooting
Stubborn stain or grease residue on the surface.
Use a slightly stronger solution of mild dish soap and water on a soft cloth, then wipe away any soap residue with a clean, damp cloth.
The tablecloth has visible creases from packaging.
Lay the cloth flat on the table; the creases will typically relax on their own over a few days due to the weight of the material. Do not attempt to iron them out.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Environmentally friendly PVC-free material
- Soft, textile-like feel that avoids a clinical plastic look
- Effective water and stain-resistant barrier
- Easy to keep clean with minimal effort
- Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use
Cons
- Not suitable for machine washing
- Cannot be ironed
- Not tumble-dry safe
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up the tablecloth is straightforward: simply unfold it and lay it flat across your desired table surface. Because the material is lightweight, it sits flush against the surface.
To ensure the longevity of your product, strict adherence to the care instructions is required. Do not machine wash, do not iron, and do not tumble dry. For maintenance, use a soft cloth dampened with mild cleaning fluid to wipe away any dust or stains. Avoid using harsh abrasive chemicals or scouring pads, as these can damage the specialized TPU coating.
