FAQs

What material is the fabric made of?

The fabric is Olefin, known for its durability, weather resistance, and UV protection.

Is assembly required for the rocking chair?

Yes, some assembly is typically required. Please consult the included instruction manual for detailed steps.

How do I clean the Olefin fabric?

Clean spills with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners. Always ensure the fabric is dry before use or covering.

Can this chair be left outside in all weather conditions?

While the fabric is weather-resistant, it is sensitive to direct heat and prolonged direct sunlight. It is recommended to cover the chair with a water-resistant and UV-resistant cover during harsh weather and when not in use to prolong its life and maintain appearance.

What is the warranty period for this rocking chair?

The Charles Bentley Rocking Chair - Porto comes with a 1 Year Manufacturers warranty.

What are the dimensions of the chair?

Please refer to the product specifications or packaging for exact dimensions, as these can vary slightly.

Can the cushions be removed for cleaning?

Typically, outdoor chair cushions are designed to be spot-cleaned or hand-washed. Refer to the product manual for specific instructions on cushion care and removal.

Troubleshooting

Chair does not rock smoothly.

Ensure the chair is on a level surface. Check for any obstructions around the rocking mechanism. Verify all frame components are tightly secured.

Fabric shows signs of fading.

This may occur with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Protect the chair with a UV-resistant cover when not in use or during peak sun hours. Ensure it is not placed too close to heat sources.

Cushions feel less firm over time.

The deep-filled cushions may naturally compress with use. Ensure they are regularly fluffed and rotated to maintain their shape and comfort. Refer to care instructions for cleaning to avoid damage that could affect firmness.

Frame appears to be rusting or damaged.

Inspect the powder coating for chips or scratches. If minor damage is present, consider touching up with appropriate metal paint. For significant rust or damage, contact customer support for assistance.

Care:

Fabric Care: The Olefin fabric is weather-resistant. Clean spills immediately with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Since the fabric is sensitive to direct heat and prolonged direct sunlight, it is recommended to use a water-resistant and UV-resistant cover when the chair is not in use or during periods of harsh weather.
Frame Care: Wipe the powder-coated steel frame with a damp cloth to remove dust and debris. Avoid using abrasive pads that could scratch the finish.
Storage: During extended periods of non-use or extreme weather, store the chair in a dry, protected area, ideally covered with a suitable outdoor furniture cover.
