Product Information

Full details

These Wham Clip 7L storage boxes are designed for anyone looking to organize and declutter their home or workspace efficiently. Their primary benefit lies in their versatile, space-saving design, allowing for both stacking and nesting. A minor caveat is that the clear base, while useful for identification, might show scuffs over time with heavy use. This set of five boxes features secure clip-lock lids, a clear base for visibility, and is made from durable, BPA-free, 100% recyclable plastic in the UK.

FAQs

What are the exact internal dimensions of the 7L box?

The internal dimensions of each 7L box are approximately 35cm (Length) x 20cm (Width) x 10cm (Height).

Can these boxes be used for food storage?

Yes, the boxes are made from BPA-free and Phthalate-free plastic, making them safe for storing dry food items. Always clean thoroughly before and after storing food.

How many boxes are included in this set?

This set includes 5 x 7L rectangular plastic storage boxes with clear lids.

Are the lids interchangeable with other Wham Clip box sizes?

No, the lids are designed to fit the specific 7L rectangular base they come with. They are not interchangeable with different sizes or shapes of Wham Clip boxes.

What is the material of the boxes?

The boxes are made from high-quality, durable polypropylene.

Can these boxes be used outdoors?

While durable, prolonged exposure to extreme weather, UV rays, or direct sunlight is not recommended as it can degrade the plastic over time. Best used in sheltered indoor or semi-outdoor conditions.

How do I clean the boxes?

Wipe clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive scrubbers.

Troubleshooting

Lid does not clip securely

Ensure the lid is correctly aligned with the base and that no debris is obstructing the clip mechanism. Press firmly on all four corners of the lid to engage the clips.

Boxes seem unstable when stacked

Verify that you are stacking identical Wham Clip 7L boxes and that the bases and lids are fully engaged. Uneven surfaces can also affect stability; ensure the stacking area is level.

Scratches on the clear base

Minor scratches are normal wear for clear plastic products. For deeper scratches, consider placing a liner inside the box or using the box for items where surface perfection is not critical.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent space-saving through nesting and stacking.
Secure lids prevent accidental opening and keep contents protected.
Durable, BPA-free plastic is safe and long-lasting.
Clear base aids in quick content identification.
Made in the UK with recyclable materials.

Cons

Clear bases may show scuffs or scratches with prolonged use.
External dimensions may be slightly larger than internal for some storage spaces.
Lid colour is consistently clear, offering limited aesthetic variety if matching specific decor is a priority.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

These storage boxes require no assembly. Simply unpack and use. To open, gently ease the clips on the lid upwards. To close, place the lid on the base and push down the clips until they lock securely.

Compatibility:

The 7L rectangular boxes are designed to stack securely with other Wham Clip 7L rectangular boxes of the same dimensions. They nest efficiently when empty.

Care:

Clean the boxes with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can scratch the plastic.
Ensure the boxes are completely dry before storing items to prevent moisture buildup.
While made from durable plastic, avoid exposing them to extreme heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this may degrade the material over time.
The material is BPA-free, making it suitable for storing non-perishable food items, but always ensure thorough cleaning before and after such use.
