FAQs

Is this bra suitable for running?

The Power Pulse Bra is designed for medium-impact activities. While it provides excellent support for gym work, high-impact activities like sprinting may require a high-impact specific sports bra.

Are the cups removable?

No, this model features fixed, marshmallow-soft moulded cups designed for consistent support.

How should I wash my Sweaty Betty bra?

Machine wash in cold water with similar colors and hang to dry. Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.

What does the hook-and-eye closure do?

It provides the ability to adjust the band size, ensuring a secure, custom fit around your chest.

Is this bra compatible with all body types?

Yes, with adjustable straps and a multi-setting back closure, it is designed to fit a wide range of adult body shapes comfortably.

Troubleshooting

Straps sliding off shoulders

Tighten the adjustable straps using the rear sliders to ensure a closer fit to your frame.

Material feels damp/heavy after long workouts

Ensure you are not using fabric softener during wash cycles, which can clog the moisture-wicking pores of the fabric.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Soft, moulded cups provide excellent shape and support
Moisture-wicking material keeps you comfortable during sweat-heavy sessions
Padded shoulder straps reduce pressure on the shoulders
Adjustable back closure ensures a tailored fit for different ribcage sizes

Cons

Hook-and-eye closure can be tricky to fasten compared to pull-on styles
Medium impact rating may not be sufficient for high-intensity running
Fixed cups cannot be removed for individual preferences

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To achieve the best fit, adjust the hook-and-eye settings so the band sits snugly against your ribcage without restricting deep breaths. The padded straps should be adjusted to be taut but comfortable, ensuring they do not slide off during movement.

For care, wash the bra in cold water with similar technical fabrics. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can coat the moisture-wicking fibers and reduce their effectiveness over time. It is recommended to air dry the bra to maintain the integrity of the moulded cups and the elasticity of the fabric.
