FAQs
Are these shoes true to size?
Yes, the Nike SB Vertebrae is designed to fit true to standard UK adult sizing.
Can I use these for running?
These shoes are designed for skateboarding and lifestyle use; they do not have the cushioning required for high-impact running.
How do I keep the white sections clean?
Use a damp cloth and mild soap to gently wipe the white areas, then allow them to air dry.
Is the material waterproof?
No, these trainers are not waterproof. It is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain.
Are these suitable for wide feet?
The rounded toe design allows for a fairly accommodating fit, but individuals with very wide feet may prefer trying them on to ensure comfort.
What is the primary material?
The SB Vertebrae series uses durable performance materials specifically chosen to endure the friction associated with skateboarding.
Troubleshooting
Laces constantly coming untied during activity
Use a double-knot or consider replacing them with high-friction skate laces.
Minor scuffing on the upper material
Use a specialized sneaker eraser or a soft cloth with a tiny amount of water to buff out light marks.
Foot discomfort during long walks
If the flat sole is uncomfortable, consider inserting aftermarket orthotic insoles for extra arch support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Nike SB Vertebrae trainers last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:
Setup
- Lace the shoes comfortably before your first use; avoid overtightening to maintain circulation.
Compatibility
- These are standard UK adult sizes; they fit true to size for most users. If you wear thick skate socks, consider your typical preference for space in the toe box.
Care
- Spot clean as needed using a soft brush and mild soap.
- Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can break down the materials.
- Air dry in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources to prevent material warping.
