FAQs

Is this duvet suitable for winter?

The Night Lark set is rated at 6 tog, which is ideal for spring and summer. You may find it too light for colder winter months.

What materials are used in the filling?

The duvet is filled with Smartfil fibres derived from 100% recycled PET bottles.

Can I use my own duvet covers with this set?

The set is designed specifically to be coverless, so the built-in cover is intended to be the final layer.

How do I ensure the duvet stays clean?

Because the entire duvet is machine washable, you can wash the whole unit regularly to keep it fresh.

Does the set include everything I need?

Yes, it includes the coverless duvet and matching pillowcases for a complete coordinated look.

Troubleshooting

Duvet looks slightly flat after unpacking

Give the duvet a good shake to redistribute the Smartfil fibres and allow it to sit for a few hours to regain its loft.

Washing machine is struggling to fit the duvet

Ensure your machine meets the weight requirements for a king-sized duvet; if it remains too cramped, consider a professional large-capacity laundry service.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No more wrestling with awkward duvet covers
Hypoallergenic materials ideal for sensitive sleepers
Sustainable construction using recycled plastic bottles
Machine washable and fast-drying for busy schedules
Coordinated aesthetic with included matching pillowcases

Cons

Limited to 6 tog warmth which may not be enough for winter
Specific vintage stripe pattern may not suit all bedroom decors
Requires machine capacity large enough for a full duvet

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up your Night Lark set is effortless as it arrives ready to use—simply unpack, shake it out, and place it on your bed. The set is compatible with standard king-sized beds. To keep your bedding in peak condition, machine wash on a gentle cycle. Because the duvet is designed to be fully washable, ensure your washing machine has enough drum capacity to circulate water freely around the duvet. Always follow the specific heat settings on the care label to maintain the integrity of the recycled fibres. For best results, air dry or tumble dry on a low setting, taking advantage of the material's quick-drying properties.
