Product Information

Full details

The Night Lark Abstract Palms Coverless Duvet and Pillowcase Set is designed for individuals who value bedroom convenience without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. Its primary benefit is the innovative coverless design that eliminates the hassle of wrestling with duvet covers, making bed maintenance effortless. However, users should note that because it is a complete all-in-one unit, you cannot switch out the outer fabric layer like a traditional cover, meaning you must wash the entire duvet to refresh your bedding.

FAQs

Does this set include pillowcases?

Yes, the set comes with a matching pillowcase pair.

Can I use a different duvet cover with this?

The set is specifically designed to be coverless, so it is intended to be used as-is without a traditional duvet cover.

Is this suitable for someone with allergies?

Yes, the Smartfil fibres are hypoallergenic, making them a great choice for sensitive sleepers.

How often should I wash the duvet?

It can be washed as often as needed based on personal preference and hygiene needs, thanks to its machine-washable design.

What is the tog rating?

This duvet has a 10.5 tog rating, which is considered suitable for year-round use.

Are the materials sustainable?

The filling is made from recycled materials, focusing on sustainable manufacturing processes.

Troubleshooting

Duvet feels flat after removing from storage

Give the duvet a good shake and fluffing to redistribute the Smartfil fibres and introduce air into the filling.

Machine is struggling to wash the duvet

Ensure your washing machine has a high enough weight capacity for your specific duvet size; if it is too tight, it may require a commercial-sized machine.

Taking a long time to dry

Ensure the duvet is spread out evenly in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct bundling to allow air to pass through the fibres.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No more struggle with fitting duvet covers
Hypoallergenic Smartfil filling is ideal for sensitive sleepers
Sustainable construction using recycled materials
Entire set is fully machine washable
Convenient reusable storage bag included

Cons

Cannot replace just the outer cover for a style change
Requires enough space in the washing machine drum
Limited to the 10.5 tog thermal rating

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the Night Lark Abstract Palms set is straightforward: simply remove it from the reusable storage bag, allow it a moment to fluff up, and place it on your bed. It is compatible with standard bed frames and sizes. For care, always check your washing machine capacity to ensure the duvet fits comfortably without overcrowding, which helps the detergent circulate effectively. Use a gentle cycle and mild detergent. The quick-dry design allows you to air dry the item efficiently, but always ensure it is completely dry before placing it back on the bed.
