Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Bearpaw Shorty boots remain in top condition, follow these guidelines:
- Initial Setup: Ensure the boots fit snugly but allow room for socks. If you use custom orthotics, remove the existing footbed before inserting yours.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristle brush designed for suede to remove surface dirt and debris. Avoid soaking the boots in water.
- Maintenance: If the boots become wet, air dry them naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, as high heat can crack the suede.
- Storage: Keep your boots in a cool, dry place. Using a shoe tree or stuffing them with paper can help them retain their shape when not being worn for long periods.
