The Asics GEL-NYC trainers are designed for sneaker enthusiasts and daily wearers who appreciate a fusion of heritage aesthetics and modern comfort. By blending breathable mesh with durable suede overlays and advanced GEL cushioning, these shoes offer exceptional support for extended periods of standing or walking, though the suede material requires extra care to maintain its pristine condition.

While they are inspired by performance running silhouettes, they are designed primarily for lifestyle and daily wear, not high-intensity training.
Gently clean the mesh with a soft cloth dipped in a mixture of water and mild detergent, then blot with a dry cloth.
No, machine washing can damage the suede materials and the glue used in the construction of the soles.
The Asics GEL-NYC generally follows standard adult sizing, but individual fit may vary based on foot width.
The upper is constructed from a combination of breathable mesh for ventilation and suede overlays for durability.
No, they are not waterproof; the suede and mesh materials will absorb moisture.
Use a dry suede brush to gently remove surface dust and dirt; do not use water on the suede.
Use a shoe tree when not in use to maintain the shape of the upper.
Ensure the shoe is not being compressed during storage; foam can eventually compress after extensive wear.
To ensure your Asics GEL-NYC trainers remain in top condition, proper maintenance is essential. Because the upper features suede overlays, avoid exposing the shoes to excessive rain or mud, as suede can stain easily. For cleaning, use a dedicated suede brush to gently lift dirt from the nap of the material. If the mesh sections become soiled, use a mild soap and a soft-bristled brush, blotting rather than scrubbing to preserve the integrity of the fabric. Ensure the shoes air-dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can warp the materials or damage the foam cushioning.
