The Regatta Brielly Waterproof Insulated Jacket is an excellent choice for women seeking a reliable, high-performance coat for cold and wet winter conditions. By combining ISOTEX 15000 waterproof fabric with THERMOGUARD insulation and a cozy borg lining, this jacket provides essential protection against the elements while maintaining comfort. While the jacket offers superior warmth and weatherproofing, users should note that the specialized synthetic insulation requires careful laundering to maintain its loft and thermal efficiency over time.

Yes, it is constructed using ISOTEX 15000 waterproof fabric, which is designed to withstand heavy rainfall.
The borg lining is a soft, fleecy material found in the upper body and hood, designed to provide extra warmth and comfort.
It is generally recommended to air dry the jacket to avoid damaging the synthetic insulation and the waterproof membrane.
Yes, it features an adjustable hood designed to provide a secure fit against wind and rain.
Yes, it can be machine washed, but it is best to use a technical cleaner and avoid fabric softeners.
The THERMOGUARD insulation provides significant warmth, making it ideal for standard winter temperatures.
The DWR coating may have worn off. Wash the jacket with a technical gear cleaner and re-apply a DWR waterproofing spray.
Although breathable, the jacket can reach its limits during high-intensity exercise. Try wearing a moisture-wicking base layer to improve moisture management.
For optimal performance, ensure the front zipper is fully closed and the hood is adjusted to sit flush against your face during heavy wind. To care for the jacket, machine wash on a cool setting (typically 30 degrees Celsius) using a technical fabric cleaner; avoid biological detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the waterproof coating. Always air dry the garment on a hanger away from direct heat sources like radiators to preserve the integrity of the insulation and the waterproof membrane. Periodically, you may choose to re-apply a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray to the outer shell if you notice water no longer beads on the surface.
