FAQs
How do I determine the correct EU size?
Refer to the 'EU Size' and 'Foot Length' chart provided in the product description. Measure your foot length in centimeters and find the corresponding EU size for the best fit.
Are these trainers suitable for running or sports?
The New Balance 574 trainers are primarily designed for casual wear and everyday comfort. They do not offer the specialized support or cushioning required for high-impact sports or running.
How should I clean the Cordura fabric on my trainers?
Use a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to wipe away dirt. For tougher stains, a mild soap solution can be applied gently, followed by rinsing with a clean, damp cloth. Always air dry.
Can I put these trainers in the washing machine?
It is not recommended to machine wash these trainers, as it can damage the materials and construction. Hand washing with a soft brush and damp cloth is the preferred method.
What does 'ENCAP midsole technology' mean?
ENCAP refers to New Balance's technology that combines a soft foam midsole with a durable polyurethane rim, providing cushioning and support for comfortable all-day wear.
What is the main advantage of the Cordura fabric?
Cordura fabric is known for its exceptional durability, offering high resistance to abrasions, tears, and scuffs, which extends the lifespan of the trainers.
Are these shoes available in different widths?
The product description mentions 'D-Width' which typically refers to a standard width for men. Availability of other widths may vary by specific product listing and retailer.
Troubleshooting
Incorrect sizing received
Double-check the EU size on the product against the size chart provided in the product description. If the size is incorrect, consult the retailer's return policy for exchanges.
Discoloration on fabric
For light discoloration, try a gentle cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap. For persistent stains, consult specialized shoe cleaning guides for Cordura fabric.
Reduced comfort over time
Ensure the shoes are clean and dry. The internal cushioning may take time to adapt to your foot, or consider using supportive insoles if the original cushioning feels insufficient for prolonged wear.
