Designed for female cyclists who prioritize comfort during long training blocks, the Dare 2b Prompt II Cycling Shorts offer a blend of technical performance and durability. With an integrated dual-layer foam insert for extended saddle time and a moisture-wicking polyester build, they are ideal for mid-to-long distance rides; however, users should note that the specialized fit is designed primarily for cycling posture, which may feel unconventional when standing or walking.

The dual-layer foam insert is rated for comfort for up to 4-6 hours of continuous cycling.
These are specifically designed for cycling geometry and the padded insert may feel bulky or uncomfortable for running.
Cycling shorts are designed to be worn directly against the skin to prevent chafing and maximize the benefits of the moisture-wicking fabric and chamois.
The Prompt II shorts should fit snugly like a second skin without being overly restrictive. Refer to your standard UK dress size.
The shorts include reflective print details to improve visibility, though they should be used in conjunction with bike lights.
While durable, the treatment is best preserved by avoiding high-heat drying and using mild detergents.
Ensure the shorts are pulled up correctly and check that no seams are bunched; consider using an anti-chafe balm if skin sensitivity persists.
Avoid machine drying; use only air drying to allow the foam to return to its original shape and density.
Use a dedicated sports wash detergent to better clean the synthetic polyester fibers and reactivate the antibacterial finish.
To ensure your shorts maintain their integrity, it is important to follow proper care protocols. Always wash the shorts in cold water on a delicate cycle or hand wash to prevent the foam insert from becoming misshapen or losing its density. Avoid using heavy fabric softeners, as these can strip the moisture-wicking and antibacterial properties of the polyester fabric. Air dry the shorts away from direct sunlight to preserve the elasticity of the waist and leg grippers. Because these are performance-fitted, ensure you select your correct UK dress size for an optimal fit that prevents sliding or discomfort.
