While the 2002R is inspired by retro running silhouettes, it is designed primarily for lifestyle and casual use rather than long-distance athletic performance.
Use a soft brush to remove dry dirt and a suede eraser for specific spots. Avoid using water or harsh soaps.
The New Balance 2002R generally fits true to standard adult sizing, though the lacing system allows for some adjustment.
No, machine washing can damage the suede material and affect the structure of the shoe. Spot cleaning is strongly recommended.
The upper is constructed from premium suede, providing a soft texture and durable finish.
Use a specialized suede eraser or a soft, dry brush to gently lift the mark without rubbing too hard.
Double-knot the laces or ensure they are threaded tightly through the eyelets for a more secure fit.
Gently buff the suede with a dry brush to restore the natural nap and vibrancy of the green color.
To ensure your New Balance 2002R trainers remain in top condition, follow these guidelines. First, use a dedicated suede brush to gently remove surface dust after each wear. If the shoes become damp, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the suede to stiffen. To maintain the fit, ensure the laces are adjusted evenly across the eyelets. Since these are constructed with suede, it is highly recommended to use a suede-specific water-repellent spray before initial wear to protect the material from unexpected spills or light rain.
