FAQs

Are the insoles removable?

Yes, the OrthoLite insoles are fully removable, allowing you to insert your own custom orthotics if needed.

Can I put these shoes in the washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the leather and the internal cushioning components. Clean by hand only.

Do these shoes come in standard and wide fits?

The Chase II series is known for its accommodating fit, specifically designed to be a wide-fit trainer.

How do I secure the shoe correctly?

Adjust the laces for your preferred comfort level first, then use the side zip for easy, everyday on-and-off use.

What is the purpose of FreeSole technology?

FreeSole technology is designed to provide high energy return, helping to add power and efficiency to your walking stride.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty with the side zip

Ensure the laces are not pulled excessively tight, which can add unnecessary tension to the zip track.

Insole feels tight

Ensure the OrthoLite insole is pushed fully flat against the base of the shoe, or remove it if wearing with thicker custom orthotics.

Leather looks dull

Use a nubuck revitalizing spray or a suede/nubuck brush to restore the texture and appearance.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Convenient side-zip entry for easy wear
Removable OrthoLite insoles allow for custom orthotics
Wide fit accommodates diverse foot shapes
Cushion+ technology reduces impact during walking

Cons

Nubuck leather requires protective sprays to prevent staining
Not intended for heavy-duty sports or intense athletics
Lighter colourways may show dirt more easily

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Chase II trainers, follow these guidelines:

Initial Fit: Use the laces to establish your primary comfort tension across the midfoot. Once set, use the side zip for daily entry.
Insole Management: If you use custom orthotics, remove the factory OrthoLite insole before inserting your own.
Cleaning: For the nubuck leather upper, use a specialized nubuck brush to remove loose dirt. Avoid soaking the leather. Use a damp cloth for the outsole edges.
Protection: Apply a water and stain repellent spray specifically designed for nubuck leather before the first wear to protect against spills and debris.
