Setup, Compatibility & Care
For the best results, start by placing your Polka Dot Plant in a location that receives bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can cause the delicate leaves to fade or burn. When watering, apply water sparingly; the soil should be kept lightly moist but never waterlogged, as this can cause root issues. Repotting should be reserved for the spring or early summer during active growth. When you notice roots circling the drainage holes, move the plant to a container only one size larger, utilizing a high-quality, well-draining potting mix to ensure the root system has sufficient aeration.
