A vibrant Morris design showcasing perched and swooping birds among lush foliage, with ripe pomegranates being pecked at by diving birds. Re-imagined in a contemporary colour palette. This beautiful and dynamic Morris design features perching and swooping birds against a network of foliage and an abundance of ripe pomegranates ' some whole, some bursting open and others getting pecked at by diving birds. The inspiration for this piece was William Morris' much earlier pattern, 'Fruit', which similarly depicts luscious pomegranates amongst branches, leaves and blooming pomegranate flowers. With nature the focus, this vibrant and whimsical design is a fine exemplar of Morris' characteristic style. Design Match: Straight Pattern Repeat: 52 cm Washability: Spongeable Application: Paste the Wall Paste the Wall - Please note: When using Paste-the-Wall wallpaper, the paste is applied directly to the wall before hanging each strip. This wallpaper is made with a special backing that does not expand when wet; therefore, it does not need to soak as in other application methods. Using Paste-the-Wall wallpaper could cut your hanging time in half. Since the wallpaper does not need to soak prior to hanging, it can be hung more easily and quickly. Also, you won't need to set up a pasting table which can also save you some of the mess and clean up. It is also fully strippable when you fancy a change. Design Match: Straight - Please note: When using a straight design match, the wallpaper design begins and ends within the width of the roll. This makes it easy to see where the seams should line up. The match begins at the ceiling line ensuring that the design will match up on either side of the strip. This creates a horizontal pattern sequence. Please check that all batch numbers are matching before hanging the wallpaper. Bird and Pomegranate Cloudy Blues displays a neutral-white backdrop, overlaid with soft gold, muted yellow and multi-tonal teal details.
