FAQs
What are the dimensions of each mat?
Each mat measures 69cm x 36cm.
Can I use these on a textured shower floor?
No, the suction cups require a smooth, non-porous surface to function correctly.
Are these mats dishwasher safe?
No, we recommend hand washing with mild soap and water to preserve the material and suction integrity.
How do I ensure the mat is safe to step on?
Always press firmly on the mat to engage the suction cups and verify it is stationary before putting your full weight on it.
Do I get two mats in the package?
Yes, this product is sold as a set of two mats.
Are these mats suitable for children?
Yes, they provide additional stability, but adult supervision is always recommended when children are using the bath.
Troubleshooting
Mat feels like it is sliding.
Check that the suction cups are clean and free of debris. Ensure the bath surface is not coated in soap or body oil.
Suction cups will not stick.
The mat may not be compatible with your tub's surface texture. If the surface is rough or heavily textured, the suction cups cannot create the necessary vacuum.
Mat looks discolored or dirty.
Soak in a solution of warm water and mild detergent for 30 minutes, scrub lightly with a soft brush, and rinse thoroughly.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up your Medina mats, ensure your bath or shower floor is completely free of oils, soaps, or bath products, as these can interfere with the suction cup grip.
Compatibility: These mats are designed for standard smooth-surfaced bathtubs and shower trays. They will not provide a secure hold on textured, non-slip, or porous surfaces like uneven stone or rough tile.
Care Instructions: Rinse the mat thoroughly with warm water after every use. To prevent mildew, hang the mat over the side of the tub or a shower rail to air dry. Periodically clean with a mild soap solution to maintain the antibacterial properties.
