This guide is for adult women seeking a versatile, insulating layer for outdoor activities and everyday wear. The key benefit is its effective warmth and moisture resistance, made from sustainable recycled materials. A potential caveat is that it's designed as a layering piece, so consider pairing it with a waterproof shell for full weather protection. The North Face 100 Glacier Full-Zip Fleece is constructed from soft brushed microfibre fleece, featuring a full-zip closure, elastic binding on the hem and cuffs, and two zipped side pockets. It is also Zip in compatible, designed as part of the Circular Design initiative for recyclability.

Its primary purpose is to provide warmth and moisture management as an insulating layer for outdoor activities and casual wear.
No, the fleece is moisture-repellent but not waterproof. For protection against rain, it should be worn with a waterproof outer shell.
Machine wash cold with like colors, use non-chlorine bleach only if needed, tumble dry low, and do not iron or dry clean. Washing inside out can help preserve the fabric's surface.
It means the fleece has specific features (loops, snaps, tapes) that allow it to be securely attached to compatible The North Face outer jackets, creating a unified layering system.
The Circular Design initiative means the product is engineered for easy disassembly and recycling at the end of its life cycle, reducing waste and promoting sustainability.
The fabric weight is 160 G/M² for the main body, made from 100% recycled polyester.
It can be worn as an outer layer in mild, dry conditions. For colder, wet, or windy weather, it is best utilized as a mid-layer beneath a protective shell jacket.
Pilling is a common characteristic of microfibre fleece. To minimize it, wash inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water and tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Avoid harsh detergents and fabric softeners.
Ensure the fabric around the zipper is clear and not caught. Gently pull the zipper up and down. If it remains stiff, a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the zipper teeth.
This fleece is designed as an insulating mid-layer. For colder conditions, layer it under a windproof or waterproof jacket for added warmth and protection from the elements.
Avoid washing or drying with items that have sharp edges or Velcro. If minor snags occur, carefully trim loose threads with small scissors. For significant damage, professional repair might be necessary.
Setup: This garment requires no setup; it is ready to wear out of the packaging.
Compatibility: The fleece features a zip-in compatible loop along the back collar and zip-in compatible tape & snap on cuffs, designed to integrate with specific The North Face jackets. Check product compatibility details for the best fit.
