Designed for fashion-forward adults seeking an avant-garde aesthetic, the adidas Yeezy 450 Dark Slate offers a unique blend of high-performance engineering and striking street style. This model features an innovative sock-like knit construction paired with a distinct, claw-like EVA foam midsole that provides impressive cushioning and a personalized fit. While the bold, cloud-inspired silhouette makes a strong visual statement, potential owners should note that the specialized knit upper requires careful maintenance to preserve its texture and structural integrity over time.

The Yeezy 450 is notable for being the first Yeezy model to be manufactured in Germany.
These shoes feature a sock-like construction, which generally provides a snug, personalized fit.
While the shoe provides cushioning, it is primarily designed for daily wear rather than high-impact athletic training.
The outer is composed of 100% fabric, while the sole is made of 100% rubber.
The EVA foam provides a high-rebound, cloud-inspired cushion that offers structural support and energy return.
The Dark Slate features a knit base threaded in brown, which creates a complex, deep aesthetic that appears different depending on the lighting.
The sock-like fit is designed to be snug; ensure you are pulling from the heel tab while inserting your foot.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently sweep away loose dirt. Avoid rubbing too hard as this can fray the knit fibers.
To get the most out of your Yeezy 450s, ensure you choose the correct UK size for a snug, secure fit, as the knit upper has a specific tension. No special assembly is required, but it is recommended to loosen the laces (if applicable) when sliding your foot into the sock-style opening to avoid putting unnecessary stress on the fabric. For care, keep the shoes away from prolonged direct sunlight, which can impact the EVA foam properties. Use a soft, dry brush to remove surface dust from the knit upper. For deeper cleans, consult the specific product label provided with your packaging, as improper cleaning agents may damage the fabric or the injected midsole compound.
