The New Balance 550 Trainers are designed for adults seeking a blend of classic basketball-inspired aesthetics and everyday comfort. Featuring a crisp white upper with striking blue accents, these shoes provide a versatile, retro look suitable for most casual environments; however, users should note that as a lifestyle-focused sneaker, they are better suited for urban wear than high-intensity athletic performance.

Yes, they are generally considered to be true to size. If you are between sizes, consider your preference for a snug or roomier fit.
While inspired by basketball, these are designed as lifestyle sneakers. They lack the technical support and cushioning required for high-performance court sports.
Use a damp, not soaking, cloth with a mild cleaner and avoid scrubbing the blue areas aggressively to keep the pigment intact.
They are comfortable for daily walking and light activity, but for long-distance hiking or professional long-distance walking, athletic running shoes are recommended.
Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, which can cause the white materials to yellow over time.
Use a specialized sneaker cleaning solution or a mild soapy water mix with a soft brush to gently wipe the affected areas.
This is normal for leather-based sneakers; use shoe trees when not in use to help maintain the original shape and minimize deep creases.
Ensure the laces are threaded properly through the eyelets and consider a double knot for a more secure fit during active days.
To keep your New Balance 550 trainers in top condition, focus on consistent maintenance. Since the base color is white, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust after each wear. If the shoes get wet, air-dry them at room temperature, away from direct heat sources to prevent material damage. For stubborn stains, use a mild, shoe-safe cleaner on a soft cloth. Ensure you verify your UK sizing before purchase, as the fit of the 550 series is generally true to size for adult feet.
