The Rains Long Waterproof Jacket is designed for adults seeking a functional yet stylish outerwear solution for wet conditions. With its 5,000 mm waterproof rating and long-line silhouette, it provides reliable protection from rain without sacrificing mobility or aesthetics. While it excels at shielding you from sudden showers, users should note that the lightweight fabric is optimized for layering rather than providing heavy insulation in sub-zero temperatures.

Yes, but it should be washed on a gentle, low-temperature cycle without fabric softeners.
The standard design focuses on external angled pockets for a streamlined look; it does not feature an internal zippered pocket.
The jacket is designed for rain protection. While it acts as a windbreaker, it is not insulated and should be layered with warmer garments for winter use.
This rating means the fabric can withstand the pressure of a 5,000 mm water column over a 24-hour period, which is sufficient for heavy rain.
Yes, the fabric is constructed to be breathable to ensure comfort during movement, despite the high waterproof rating.
The Rains jackets have a standard fit. If you plan to wear bulky sweaters underneath, consider choosing one size larger than your usual fit.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may need reactivation. Clean the jacket with a gentle soap and tumble dry on a low setting according to the care label instructions.
Check for any debris or dirt lodged in the button mechanism and clean with a soft brush or damp cloth.
To keep your Rains jacket in top condition, avoid dry cleaning or using harsh detergents. Typically, a damp cloth is sufficient to wipe away dirt or surface stains. If the jacket becomes heavily soiled, consult the care label for machine wash settings—usually, a delicate, low-temperature cycle is recommended. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can compromise the waterproof coating. Ensure the jacket is completely dry before folding it for storage to prevent any long-term fabric degradation.
