Troubleshooting
Foot discomfort or rubbing during runs
Ensure you have the correct size and width. Experiment with different running socks, as thicker or thinner options can affect fit. Check lacing to ensure it's secure but not too tight.
Reduced bounce or cushioning feel over time
Running shoes have a lifespan, typically 300-500 miles, after which cushioning degrades. If your shoes are nearing this mileage, it may be time for a replacement. Also, ensure your running form is efficient, as poor form can sometimes mask the shoe's true performance.
Slippage on wet pavement
While the rubber outsole provides good traction, all shoes can struggle on extremely wet or slick surfaces. Reduce speed and shorten your stride in adverse conditions. Ensure the outsole is clean of debris that might hinder grip.

The ASICS SUPERBLAST 2 requires no special setup; simply lace them up and go. They are compatible with runners who have a neutral foot strike or mild underpronation, and they are specifically designed for optimal performance on asphalt and paved road surfaces. To care for your ASICS SUPERBLAST 2 shoes and maximize their lifespan, gently clean them after runs, especially if they've encountered dirt or mud. Use a soft brush or cloth with mild soap and cold water to clean the upper and outsole. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can damage the materials and construction.
