These trousers offer extremely water-resistant and waterproof protection with welded seams, making them ideal for most rainy conditions. However, for prolonged submersion or extremely heavy downpours, specialized heavy-duty gear might be more appropriate.

The trousers have a generous fit for comfort and movement. We recommend checking the product's size chart, which usually provides waist and leg measurements, to select the best size for your needs. The elasticated waist and stud-adjustable hem also allow for some flexibility.

It means the water-repellent treatment on the fabric does not contain PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances), which are often found in traditional waterproof finishes. This 'Splash Eco' finish is a more environmentally conscious approach to repelling water.

While these trousers provide excellent waterproofing, they are made of polyester with a PU coating, which offers limited breathability. For very high-exertion activities where significant sweating is expected, you might experience some moisture buildup internally. They are best suited for moderate activity levels in wet conditions.

The trousers meet EN 343 Class 3:1 standards, with a WP (Waterproof Pressure) rating of 5,000mm.

You can machine wash them warm (40°C), but avoid bleach and fabric softeners. Tumble dry on low or line dry. To maintain the water repellency, avoid dry cleaning and ironing on high heat.

Ensure all seams are properly welded and inspect for any tears or damage to the fabric or coating. Clean the fabric according to care instructions; dirt can affect water repellency.

Check that the size is appropriate and consider if you are layering with very thick clothing underneath. The generous fit is designed for movement, but excessively bulky underlayers could impact comfort.

Follow washing instructions carefully. Avoid high heat drying, which can degrade elastic over time. If the issue persists after proper care, contact customer support.

Ensure the fabric is not caught in the studs. If they become stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can help, applied sparingly to the stud mechanism.
