Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup (First Wear)
- Unboxing: Carefully remove the trainers from their packaging.
- Inspection: Check for any manufacturing imperfections.
- Lace Adjustment: Loosen the laces, insert your foot, and re-tie them to achieve a comfortable, snug fit. Ensure they are not too tight or too loose.
- First Wear: Wear them for short periods initially to allow the leather to adapt to your foot shape.
Wardrobe Compatibility
These trainers are highly versatile and complement a wide range of outfits:
- Bottoms: Jeans (all washes), chinos, tailored trousers, shorts.
- Tops: Polo shirts, button-down shirts, t-shirts, light knitwear, casual blazers.
- Occasions: Ideal for casual weekends, smart-casual office environments, social gatherings, or everyday errands.
Product Care & Maintenance
Proper care is essential to maintain the appearance and longevity of your leather trainers.
- Regular Cleaning: After each wear, gently wipe off any dirt or dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor marks, use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap formulated for leather, then wipe dry immediately.
- Leather Conditioner: Periodically apply a high-quality leather conditioner to keep the leather soft, supple, and prevent drying or cracking. Follow the product's instructions for application.
- Water Protection: Apply a leather-specific water and stain protector spray before first wear and periodically thereafter, especially if you anticipate exposure to moisture.
- Drying: If trainers get wet, stuff them with newspaper to absorb moisture and allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat sources or sunlight. Do not use artificial heat.
- Storage: Store trainers in a cool, dry place. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh detergents, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the leather.
