FAQs

How long does the pink color last?

Longevity varies based on hair porosity and frequency of washing, but it is designed to fade gradually over several washes.

Will this cover grey hair?

This mask is designed to enhance color, not for full grey coverage; it may blend grey strands but will not provide complete opacity.

Can I mix this with other shades?

Yes, Wella Professionals Colour Fresh Masks can often be mixed to create custom tones, though patch testing is recommended.

Is it safe to use on chemically treated hair?

Yes, the formula is free from ammonia and peroxide, making it safe for hair that has been previously colored or permed.

Does it require a developer?

No, this is a ready-to-use mask that does not require the use of a developer or activator.

Troubleshooting

Color is not appearing vibrant enough

Ensure hair was sufficiently lightened before application or extend the processing time by an extra 5-10 minutes.

Color is uneven

Thoroughly comb the product through the hair from roots to ends to ensure every strand is evenly coated.

Staining on skin or bathroom surfaces

Immediately wipe away excess product from skin with a damp cloth and rinse bathroom surfaces with a mild cleanser.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No damage to hair structure
Visible results in 10 minutes
Leaves hair conditioned and smooth
Fades gracefully over time
Easy to apply as a home treatment

Cons

Temporary longevity compared to permanent dyes
Results depend on current hair shade
May require more product for very long or thick hair

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Before application, ensure your hair is freshly washed and towel-dried to ensure even color distribution. Always wear gloves, as the concentrated pigment can stain hands and fingernails.

Compatibility: Works best on light, blonde, or pre-lightened hair for maximum vibrancy.
Care: Avoid using deep clarifying shampoos immediately after treatment, as this can strip the temporary pigment faster. To maintain color, minimize heat styling and wash with cool water to keep the cuticle closed and the pigment locked in.
