Yes, the air fryer is excellent for cooking frozen items like chips or chicken pieces, often requiring slightly longer cooking times than fresh food.
While not always necessary, preheating for 3-5 minutes can help achieve crispier results for specific recipes.
It is recommended to hand wash accessories in warm soapy water to maintain the integrity of the non-stick coating for a longer period.
Yes, you can use foil on the trays for easier cleanup, but ensure it does not obstruct the air vents or fans.
The fan generates a soft hum similar to a standard microwave or a conventional fan-assisted oven.
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded wall outlet and the oven door is fully closed.
Avoid overfilling the trays and ensure there is enough space between food items for the air to circulate effectively.
If cooking fatty foods, ensure the drip tray is clean and consider reducing the cooking temperature.
To set up your unit, ensure it is placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface with at least 10cm of clearance on all sides to allow for proper ventilation. Before the first use, wash all removable trays and accessories with warm soapy water and run the empty oven on a high heat setting for 10 minutes to clear any manufacturing residue. For daily care, always allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning. The internal surfaces and racks should be wiped down with a non-abrasive sponge to protect the non-stick coating. Never immerse the main electrical unit in water.
