FAQs
What are the exact dimensions of the Turi chair?
The chair measures 77 cm in height, 49 cm in width, and 55 cm in depth.
Is assembly difficult?
No, assembly is simple; it primarily involves attaching the metal legs to the bottom of the seat using the provided hardware.
Can I use this chair on hardwood floors?
Yes, but it is recommended to apply felt furniture pads to the bottom of the metal legs to prevent any potential scratching.
How do I clean the bouclé fabric?
Vacuum regularly with a brush attachment and blot spills immediately. Avoid heavy scrubbing to maintain the integrity of the fabric texture.
Are there other colors available?
Yes, the Turi dining chair is also available in a grey variant.
Troubleshooting
Chair feels wobbly after assembly
Check that all leg bolts are tightened equally and ensure the floor surface is perfectly level. If the floor is uneven, apply small felt pads to the bottom of the shorter leg.
Fabric has minor pilling or lint
Use a gentle fabric shaver to remove surface pilling, or use a soft-bristled upholstery brush to lift dust and lint from the bouclé texture.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Elegant and sculptural aesthetic

- Compact dimensions fit various room sizes
Cons
- Light white fabric is susceptible to stains
- Requires user assembly of legs
- Textured fabric may trap dust more easily than smooth surfaces
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Assembly: The Turi chair arrives with the legs detached to ensure safe transport. Attachment is straightforward, requiring the user to bolt the metal base to the seat frame using the included hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened firmly to prevent wobbling.
Compatibility: The chair is designed for use on level flooring. Because the legs are metal, consider using felt floor protectors if placing the chair on delicate hardwood or laminate surfaces to prevent scuffing.
Care: To keep the white bouclé fabric looking fresh, vacuum the seat regularly using an upholstery attachment to remove loose dust. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub, as this can force liquids deeper into the textured weave. For persistent spots, use a mild upholstery-safe cleaner, testing a small, inconspicuous area first.
