The Unifix Drywall Screws are designed for professional contractors and DIY enthusiasts who require a reliable, high-grip fastening solution for drywall installation. Featuring a specialized bugle head and fine thread design, these screws ensure a smooth countersink and a secure hold in interior wall applications; however, note that the black phosphate coating is optimized for interior use and may not provide sufficient resistance in high-moisture outdoor environments.

These screws feature fine threads, which are specifically optimized for metal studs. While they may work in some timber, coarse-thread drywall screws are generally recommended for wood applications.
The black phosphate coating is designed for dry interior environments. They are not recommended for high-humidity areas like bathrooms unless they will be fully sealed and painted, and even then, stainless steel alternatives are preferred for moisture-prone areas.
No, the sharp point on these screws allows for direct driving into drywall and metal studs without the need for pre-drilling.
Each box contains 200 individual screws.
A standard Phillips or cross-head screwdriver bit is used with these screws. A magnetized bit holder is recommended for easier installation.
Adjust the depth locator on your screw gun to stop the drill bit earlier, preventing the screw from being driven too deeply.
Ensure you are using the correct bit size and applying steady, firm pressure to keep the driver engaged with the screw head.
Verify the stud thickness and ensure your drill speed is consistent; excessive speed can occasionally strip the metal before the threads catch.
To ensure the best results, use a Phillips or Pozidriv bit that matches the screw head size exactly to prevent cam-out. While these screws are designed for metal framing, they can be used in various interior applications. Store in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the black phosphate coating. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity, as the phosphate finish is intended for internal dry environments only.
