FAQs
Can this blind be cut to size?
It is not recommended to cut the blind as it may fray the edges and compromise the structural integrity of the fabric.
Is the material waterproof?
The HDPE material is breathable and weather-resistant, meaning it is designed to filter sun, not to serve as a solid rain barrier.
What is the best way to secure the cords?
Always use a cord cleat or tension device mounted well out of reach of children to secure the cord when the blind is in use.
Can I leave this up all winter?
While durable, it is best to retract or remove the blind during harsh winter conditions to prolong its lifespan.
Does it come with all installation tools?
The product includes the necessary mounting hardware, but you will need basic tools like a drill and screwdriver for the installation process.
Troubleshooting
The blind does not roll up or down smoothly
Check the mounting brackets to ensure they are level and that no debris is trapped in the roller mechanism.
The blind appears loose or sagging
Ensure the tensioning system is correctly adjusted according to your installation setup and that the mounting hardware is tightened.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation is straightforward using the included mounting hardware. First, identify the desired mounting surface, such as a wooden ceiling, wall, or pergola beam. Ensure the surface is stable and level before securing the brackets. Once the brackets are installed, simply click or slide the roller mechanism into place. For care, simply wipe down the HDPE fabric with a damp cloth or mild soapy water as needed. Avoid using abrasive chemicals that could degrade the fabric integrity. Always retract the blind during severe wind or heavy rain to prevent structural damage to the mechanism.
