Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Unpack the boots and remove any packaging.
- Loosen the laces to allow for easy foot entry.
- Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is positioned correctly against the heel counter.
- Tighten the laces evenly, utilizing the floating tongue design for a snug fit.
- Secure the foldover tongue using its strap for a clean striking surface.
Compatibility:
These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces, typically natural grass pitches or modern, well-maintained artificial grass. They are not recommended for use on soft ground, hard artificial turf, or indoor surfaces, as this can affect performance and potentially damage the stud configuration.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, wipe down the boots with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For the interior, use a soft brush or cloth. Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature; never place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in a tumble dryer, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, preferably in a boot bag, to maintain their shape and prevent damage. Ensure they are clean and dry before storage.
- Stud Maintenance: Periodically check the studs for any damage or excessive wear. Remove any embedded debris from the stud cavities.
