The SP-8 Air leather gloves offer high protection thanks to the advanced, MotoGP-derived, dual-density, floating SP knuckle protector. With a pre-curved finger construction, a hook-and-loop fastener on the cuff and a new anatomically profiled grip insert on the palm and thumb, these gloves offer a secure and highly personalized performance-riding fit and a high degree of freedom of movement and comfort. The construction from high-quality full-grain goat and synthetic leather is comfortable, durable and offers excellent abrasion resistance. Extensive perforations and mesh inserts on the back of the hand provide exceptionally high airflow and breathability. Excellent performance in repeated impacts is provided by the advanced, MotoGP-derived, dual-density SP knuckle protector. The extended cuff ensures greater coverage, safety and ease of use with an integrated closure. An innovative microfiber and grippy PU insert is strategically positioned on the palm and thumb where it provides excellent grip and durability. The exclusive Alpinestars ergonomic stretch insert between the palm and thumb allows for improved hand movement and higher sensitivity when operating motorcycle controls. The patented Alpinestars third and fourth finger bridge prevents seams from bursting and fingers from separating in the event of a slide. Perforated cuff, plus perforated finger sidewalls for excellent breathability. Hook-and-loop fastener on cuff and wrist, plus elasticated wrist for a secure, personalized fit. Pre-curved, anatomical finger design and half-in/half-out external seams for comfort and an exceptional feel. Touchscreen-compatible fingertip on index finger and thumb for use with touchscreen devices. New construction with reduced seams for improved rider comfort.
