These shoes are in UK sizing for adult females. It is generally recommended to measure your foot and consult a Nike-specific size chart, as sizes can sometimes vary slightly between brands or models. Consider trying them on to ensure a comfortable fit, especially at the end of the day when your feet are slightly larger.
The Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 41 is optimized for running. While they might be acceptable for light gym workouts, they are not specifically designed for the lateral movements or heavy lifting often involved in cross-training, which may require different shoe characteristics for support and stability.
For cleaning, gently brush off loose dirt. Use a soft cloth or brush with mild soap and water for stubborn stains. Air dry thoroughly away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or dry.
The product description does not specify any waterproof features. Typically, general running shoes are not waterproof, though they may offer some water resistance. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or wet conditions if waterproof properties are desired.
The lifespan of running shoes varies depending on mileage, running style, and individual weight. A common guideline is to replace them every 300-500 miles (approximately 480-800 kilometers) or when you notice a decrease in cushioning or support, or visible wear on the outsole.
Adjust your lacing. Ensure laces are evenly tensioned across your foot. You might try different lacing patterns to accommodate high insteps or narrow heels.
Ensure your laces are securely tied, especially using the top eyelets if available. Check if your socks are too thin or slippery, or if the shoe size might be slightly off. A thicker running sock might also help.
Check your sock choice; seamless running socks can prevent blisters. Ensure the shoe's tongue is centered. If discomfort persists, reassess sizing or consider consulting a specialist for fit evaluation.
Remove insoles after each run to let them air dry completely. Use odor-absorbing inserts or sprays. You can also sprinkle baking soda inside the shoes overnight.
