No, washing suede trainers in a machine can damage the material and construction. Stick to spot cleaning.
The trainers feature a 30 mm platform height.
Yes, the dynamic pods in the outsole are specifically designed to compress upon impact, providing a cushioned barrier between your feet and hard surfaces.
The Mae Trainers generally follow standard UK sizing; however, individual fit can vary based on foot width.
It is not recommended. Suede is porous and can be damaged or stained by water. We suggest using a protective spray to increase resistance.
Strobel construction involves sewing the upper to a fabric base, which creates a flexible, sock-like feel, making the shoe significantly more comfortable than rigid traditional soles.
Use a specialized suede eraser or a soft suede brush to gently lift dry dirt or stains.
Ensure the shoe is fully dry inside. If the foam has lost density, check if the footbed is removable to air it out or consider an aftermarket insert.
Use a suede brush or a clean, dry toothbrush to gently brush the fibers in a consistent direction to restore the nap.
As these trainers arrive ready to wear, no mechanical setup is required. For the best longevity, treat the suede upper with a water-repellent spray specifically designed for suede before the first use. To maintain the material, use a soft-bristle brush to remove surface dust regularly. Avoid wearing these in heavy rain or mud, as suede can be permanently damaged by water saturation. If the trainers get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, which can cause the suede to stiffen or warp.
